My career in real estate started in 1983 when I began  work in a Arnold real estate office. After the required two years experience, I earned a Brokers license. I am a 1987 Graduate of Realtor's Institute (GRI)  During my years in real estate I have been active in our local real estate association, serving for many years on both the Multiple Listing Committee and as a Director. I have chaired the CCAR Political Affairs Committee, the By-Laws Committee and the CanTree Committee and also served on the Professional Standards and Nominating Committees. In January of 2002 I starting working out of my home office and found this to be a very rewarding work experience.
When the county septic ordinance was re-written in 1991-92, I was the only lay person appointed by the County Supervisors to the panel selected to assist in the re-writing and I have also served on several other county appointed committees.
In 1990, the Calaveras County Association of Realtors presented me with a "Special Services" award for my assistance in computerizing the Multiple Listing Service. I was selected as  "Realtor of the Year" in  1991, the first time in many years that anyone had been selected for this honor.
I hold membership in the Calaveras County Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, Murphys  Community Club and  volunteer with Santa's Express and as a researcher in the County Archives. In the 1991-92 year  I  served  as the President of the Angels-Murphys Rotary Club.  In Rotary my efforts  were primarily with young  people, serving as an Interact Advisor at the local high school and as Rotary District 5220's Speech Contest chair and as the District Youth Foreign Exchange Program chair.
In helping clients, my goal is to spend whatever time is necessary to get the job done. I believe in offering full service and am available for advice and assistance long after the escrow has closed. The client's satisfaction is the most important thing to me.
I have lived in Calaveras County since 1975, am familiar with the changes here and have the contacts needed to get things done in a small community. I am very familiar with the history of the county and use this knowledge to understand the changes of today.
